Course summary

The MMus Music Performance master's degree gives you the opportunity to specialise in various elements of the field. On this course, you'll study the technique, history and repertoire of your instrument or voice; the principles and presentation skills of performance, as well as developing key skills in music performance, research and performance teaching.


Analytical techniques; critical practice in musicology; research skills 1 and 2; plus 2 relevant optional modules; plus a dissertation.

Upper 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent in Music or related subject.
