Course summary

There is extensive research activity carried out in the areas of: Mathematical Modelling of Structures, Solids and Fluids, Quantum Structures, Information and Control, Statistics. Researchers in all groups are involved in wider collaborations and are active partners in the Wales Institute for Mathematical and Computational Sciences (WIMCS).

Entry requirements

Honours degree (minimum 2.1) (BSc or MMath) in a discipline that is closely related to the proposed research project. Applicants whose first language is not English will require IELTS score of at least 6.0.


English language requirements

IELTS:6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component TOEFL:88 with minimum component scores: Listening 17, Writing 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20. Pearson PTE: 55 with minimum scores of 51 in each component
