The Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an internationally recognised master's degree in business administration and management. This course aims to develop the business leaders of the future. It approaches responsible leadership from the starting points of creativity, practicality and social resourcefulness. Our Executive MBA focuses on your personal development, including your career management. You will look at the integrative disciplines of business strategy and the management of change, leading to a real-world consultancy project and an individual business project. You can pursue the general MBA or specialise in one of four sectors:
- Financial Services (including banking and insurance)
- Public Services (including health, local government and emergency services)
- Social Enterprise
- Maritime.

- Home students wishing to gain a PGDip should apply for the Executive MBA (by supported open learning) and request an exit award after 120 credits.

Assessment method
The degree employs 'blended learning', so your outputs and assessments may be based around the following:

- Self-study and research facilitated online.
Entry requirements
You should have an undergraduate degree at 2.2 or above, or equivalent qualification, from a recognised university or higher education institute. You should also have a minimum of two years' relevant business work experience. Applicants without an undergraduate degree who have a minimum of five years' relevant business experience may apply subject to interview.
