This foundation degree is for workers and volunteers in 'paraprofessional' areas who support teaching and learning. This may be in classrooms as learning support assistants or teaching assistants, or in related roles, such as learning mentors linked to schools or colleges. Modules explore subjects such as the world of education, ways of supporting learners with additional educational needs, and psychological, social and emotional influences on behaviour.
