This course is intended for UK and EU students who wish to later register as a Pharmacist in the UK following a 12-month period of foundation training undertaken after graduation. In Year 1, you will cover the foundations of pharmacy, undertaking modules such as Life Sciences Chemistry and Foundations in Pharmacy Practice. In your second year, you will engage in more complex topics such as Neurophysiology, Synaptic Pharmacology and Endocrinology. In Year 3, you will develop your pharmaceutical and clinical knowledge undertaking modules such as optimising Patient Care through Pharmacy and Evidence-Based Care of Cardiovascular and Renal Disease. In your final year, you will be able to use the previously learned knowledge in complex situations for the benefit of patients. Modules include Pharmaceuticals Research Project and Clinical Therapeutics of the Central Nervous System.
