Your career and progression From the HNC, you could progress on to our Higher National Diploma (HND) in Applied Science (Chemistry), or enter into employment. If you continue onto the Level 5 HND, upon successful completion you could go into employment or progress onto a wide range of science-based top-up degree courses, such as a BSc (Hons) or to further professional study in applied chemistry or a related discipline.
