Course overview: This course includes a foundation year - ideal if you need additional preparation or if you don't have sufficient grades to join Year 1. This engaging and diverse business and management degree explores the critical area of business organisation and provides you with knowledge of markets, customers, operations, finance, ecommerce, business policy and strategy. You develop your enterprise and entrepreneurial skills through simulated business cases and real-world projects, including local and national initiatives linked to the United Nations Ten Principles. Our Business School is a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education, an initiative founded as a platform to raise the profile of sustainability in schools around the world, and to equip today's business students with the understanding and ability to deliver change tomorrow. With dual accreditation at Teesside University, as well as the degree you will receive a Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), which is the only chartered professional body for management and leadership. Dual accreditation means you will automatically receive a second professional qualification upon successful completion of your programme. After the course: Due to the diverse nature of the degree our students progress to a range of businesses and sectors securing roles from general business manager to digital business executive, international business representative to social entrepreneur, and retail manager to new business adviser.
