Our Economics, Finance and International Business degree will prepare you for a successful career as an economist or financial business analyst in the government or not-for-profit sector. You will learn the theory and how to apply this to the real world through:
- the work placement scheme
- visits by experts from the world of business, government and other higher education institutions
- and the insight provided by our experienced staff.
You will learn about the key issues involved in international production, investment and trade and you will develop the skills in economic analysis and modelling which inform complex decision making. On this course you will discover how to apply your expertise in practice by acquiring the ability to create detailed and well-informed reports, present arguments persuasively, think critically and strategically, and work co-operatively in cross-cultural teams. In your final year, you undertake a synoptic module in Economics, Finance and International Business which allows you to engage in independent project work. For detailed module information, please see the online course entry on our website.
