Course overview: Social work is a profession that is in demand. Our course has a strong focus on employability skills that extends beyond the practice placements and is embedded throughout all the modules. Strong links with a range of people with lived experiences and practitioners see them actively involved in the teaching and learning strategies of the programme. There is a strong emphasis on adult and children’s safeguarding, risk assessment and risk management, and the underpinning legislations. A diverse range of learning and teaching approaches that support innovative assessments see you creatively engage with learning to apply to a range of practice contexts.
