This course provides a secure grounding in the principles, doctrines, and application of law and the intellectual traditions and perspectives that underpin business as a distinctive discipline. You will learn the key principles and doctrines underlying English, European and International law and develop an understanding of its social, political, historical, and comparative contexts. Your study of law will also help you to develop a well-informed approach to problem solving, something which is important to a successful career in law or business. Your business modules, taught in Keele Business School, will provide you with a firm foundation from which to engage with business in a global context. You will develop a keen appreciation of the relationship between law and business at a theoretical level, and how law influences workplace and business practices, to help equip you for a career in law or business.
