Course summary
This course is for doctors at any stage of their careers who are interested in developing and proving their commitment to: Improving patient experience and service delivery Demonstrating caring, compassionate, authentic leadership Developing leadership capacity to achieve medical and organisational impact The course is designed to develop your knowledge, understanding and skills in line with the Medical Leadership Competency Framework. The MSc includes:
- Further development of your knowledge and skills
- Undertaking real work-based medical leadership projects
Assessment method
Assessment is based on coursework, including learning contracts, project proposals, reports, reflective commentary, and oral presentation.
Entry requirements
A first degree or equivalent professional qualification. We may also consider non-standard applicants, please contact us for information. We may ask you to provide a recognised English language qualification, dependent upon your nationality and where you have studied previously. We normally require an IELTS (Academic) Test with an overall score of at least 6.5, and a minimum of 6.0 in each element of the test. We also consider other English language qualifications.
