Course summary
Research students benefit from a comprehensive programme of training to develop their research skills and methodologies. Students will have access to the latest industry-standard equipment and software to aid their investigations, including Oculus Rift, embedded system development and microelectronic engineering design and simulation platforms. The supervisory team of experienced academics will provide guidance for students to publish their work in leading journals and present at global conferences.

Assessment method
An MSc by Research is usually awarded based on the quality of the student’s work and related thesis, and their ability to present and successfully defend their chosen research topic in an oral examination.
Entry requirements
First or second class honours degree in a relevant subject. Overseas students will be required to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in each element.
