This commercial horticulture degree is the perfect choice if you have an interest in plant science, sustainability, landscaping or production of food crops and biofuel. This degree in commercial horticulture combines the study of plant science in a laboratory, including garden therapy and hydroponics, with practical skills using commercial crops. You will benefit from access to the extensive college gardens and the nearby Court Lane Nurseries, with its own glasshouses and orchards. You can also visit a range of sites, gardens and parks to build up your network of contacts. Past students have progressed to careers in areas such as fruit production, food crops, and teaching and research posts. The course is offered by one of the university's partner colleges: Hadlow College in Kent. What you should know about this course
