Course summary

On the course, you’ll build a range of technical and managerial construction expertise, along with up-to date knowledge of legislation and regulations. We’ll also prepare you to meet demanding challenges as leaders of multidisciplinary project teams. You’ll leave with the confidence to deliver in complex environments.

Modules

Year 1: Supporting studies; Surveying and setting out; Legal and economic context; Construction technology and materials; Construction technology and structures; Building services and environmental science. Year 2: Construction contract law; Measurement 1 and documentation; Estimating and tendering process; Production management; Construction planning; Management of organisation. Year 3: Research project; Project management; Corporate management and finance; Contract practice and administration; Sustainable construction and the environment; Construction management project.

English Language Requirements for International and EU Applicants: IELTS 6.0 (the minimum score required in each skill area is 5.5) or TOEFL IBT 80 ( the minimum score required in each skills areas are: Reading 18, Listening 17, Writing 17, Speaking 20) or Pearson Test of English Academic 52 (the minimum score required in each skill area is 51)
