Course summary
This course is intended for those who wish to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding across the health and social care sector gaining a total of 120 credits at Level 4. It will equip you for employment at a supervisory level by developing the skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for working life and prepare you to progress to further professional development at a higher level if desired for example Higher Education courses such as nursing midwifery or working with older adults.
Assessment method
Each unit or module will be assessed by a mixture of assignment, seminar, presentation and/or evidence from your work placement. There are no exams. You will be supported through tutor notes and materials which are available on Blackboard, our virtual learning environment. You will be required to complete research and development work independently beyond class and keep up to date, communicating regularly with your tutors if you cannot attend college.
