Nurses are vital to the health and social care needs of the population. There’s an increasing demand for registered nurses with the ability to care for people with multiple or complex needs of all ages – whether at home, in the community or in hospitals. This stimulating integrated Masters-level nursing degree has been developed for compassionate and highly motivated individuals who want to pursue this meaningful career. At the end of our degree, you’ll be able to register in two fields of nursing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. During your MSci Nursing we’ll give you practical opportunities, both simulated and on placements, to help you become an effective leader capable of problem-solving successfully. Assessment method

In each year, you will be assessed by written coursework, an oral task, a simulated practical exercise and an online time-limited assessment. While on practice placement, you will be supported in the development of the application of knowledge and skills, leading to the assessment of related proficiencies.

Qualification requirements

If you have a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent), there is no maximum number of qualifications that we will accept UCAS points from. This includes additional qualifications such as Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), AS Levels that haven’t been continued to A Level, and General Studies AS or A Level awards.
