Assessment method

Throughout the programme, teaching, learning and assessment will be used to develop both your ability to understand the complexities of modern business and management, and the skills necessary to compete in ever tighter graduate job markets. We ensure this by incorporating the involvement of private and public sector employers; providing guest lectures, problems that require solutions, opportunities to learn with them, which helps maintain the employability focus of the degree. You will be expected to actively engage in your studies; testing ideas in a low risk environment. Learning at Abertay is not just about passing exams and coursework, but making your contribution to the knowledge of others, and gaining from them. Teaching, learning and assessment combine a range of traditional and innovative approaches. It's not all about exams: portfolio projects, presentations, groupwork, simulation and at work assessments are all key features of the programme.
