Course summary

Prepare for international business, becoming versed in Russian language and culture while studying finance and management. This programme consists of the major element Russian and the minor element Business Management. No prior knowledge of Russian is required. Studying Russian means engaging deeply with the language, in conjunction with an exploration of Russia’s culture, society, and history. You’ll develop a sophisticated understanding of the way Russians think and feel and the cultural references that shape their identities.Teaching of written and spoken Russian continues all the way through to your final year, combining practical language teaching with modules that explore the language in different contexts. You’ll also learn about financial management, marketing, strategy and human resources, with business modules making up about one-quarter of your programme. You’ll spend your third year studying in Russia or a Russian-speaking country, immersing yourself in its language and society.
