Course summary
The course focus is on rugby coaching and its associated disciplines, fitness testing and programme design, psychology, anatomy and physiology A research methods and study skills module is also offered to support students and aid integration into higher level study Alongside this students are prepared for work in the industry with modules centred on actual industrial experience The course utilises the strong community links the department has established, to place students in local Primary and Secondary Schools, Carmarthenshire County Council Sports Development Unit, NGB Development Officers, Scarlets, and CSG Sports Academy to gain practical work experience.
