Course summary

The top up version of the Health and Social Care Management degree is designed for those who already hold a Pearson/Edexcel BTEC Higher National Diploma and want to extend their learning to a full honours degree. The programme consists of the third year of the BSc (Hons) degree programme and provides a combination of academic theory and practical application relevant to a wide range of healthcare organisations. From Leadership, Contemporary Issues in Health and Social Care to Managing Change, Managing Risk and carrying out a research project, the programme is designed to develop a range of cognitive and intellectual skills together with techniques specific to a healthcare context.

Assessment method
