Degree level: Undergraduate

History of Art with a Language (with a Year Abroad)

Course summary

You will be able to study in one of the leading History of Art departments in the country, whilst combining the study of one of four languages: French, German, Italian and Spanish. The year abroad will provide an opportunity to both use the language being studied, and to either study History of Art, or work in a related field. The increased skill set and employment opportunities by having both language skills and art historical training will benefit all graduates, and those wishing to pursue postgraduate studies will be in a far better position to conduct research in more than one language.
