Modules
Stage 1: Law and Social Policy; Applying Social Work Models and Methods; Developing Professional Relationships in Social Work (Readiness for Direct Practice); Psychosocial Perspectives of the Life Course; Professional Practice with Children and their Families; MA First Substantive Placement. Stage 2: MA Final Substantive Placement plus 40 credits of option units - Working for Service Improvement; Critical Literature Review; Dissertation.

Entry requirements
A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:1 in any subject. Applicants with a 2:2 will be considered if they have strong relevant work experience. If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component of writing, speaking, listening and reading. Please note that all successfully shortlisted applicants are invited to interview. This will demonstrate whether you show the necessary insight into social work, as well as the motivation and commitment to become a social worker.
