Course summary
This course is aimed at those wishing to pursue careers within the ecology sector. Students will explore the issues faced by habitats and species and put forward innovative, forward thinking, evidence-based solutions. Development of a broad understanding of the legislation surrounding species and habitats and practical survey skills are central themes to the course. What will I study?

- Geographical information systems
- Wildlife legislation and habitat assessment

- Fauna and flora surveying
- Research skills.

GCSE English at grade C/4 or above
English language requirements
If first language is not English, or a Tier 4 student visa to study is required and GCSE grade C/4 English or equivalent is not held, English language proficiency level such as International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.0 overall (with a minimum 5.5 in each skill) will need evidencing.
