Course summary
The MSc Cyber Forensic Investigation course is a specialist postgraduate degree that will equip you with the tools and techniques necessary to undertake a digital forensic investigation, analyse evidential data, and to produce documentation for use in the criminal and civil legal system. The aim of the MSc Cyber Forensic Investigation’s programme of study is to provide you with the knowledge and skills to be able to undertake digital forensic investigation in accordance with established professional practices and legal requirements. To achieve this, the course has been designed to create effective cyber forensic investigators who will have acquired the necessary technical skills and knowledge to work within a managerial role in the industry. Entry requirements
- 2.2 Honors degree or equivalent or a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification. Relevant work experience will also be taken into consideration. - The program requires competency in IT, computer programming, networking or databases either from a relevant first degree or professional experience.
English language requirements
International students will need to produce evidence of an acceptable score on an approved English language test such as IELTS. We run pre-sessional English language courses to help you prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
