Course summary
Discover the data driving business success. Data analysts are curious. When presented with information they think critically, extensively explore all possibilities, and offer human interpretation alongside automated analytics. Our Business and Analytics BSc (Hons) course provides you with the opportunity and skills to explore these techniques, identifying patterns, interpreting trends and ultimately informing business development and decision making. You will learn in a diverse environment, building cultural and ethical awareness, important in the field of analytics where issues such as data privacy are vital. Supplemented with broad business modules in you first year, you will gain interdisciplinary skills which will help you interpret data within a range of business contexts – from marketing to finance. This double-sided approach is valuable for tasks which you may encounter during employment; for example, forecasting sales when entering new global markets or assessing brand performance online to help inform digital marketing strategies. Having this knowledge of business and analytics together will ultimately help you stand out in your future career.
