The BA (Hons) Business (Tourism) is for those who are interested in business and have a passion for travel and tourism. This degree is designed to help you develop professional level skills and an understanding of the dynamics of the tourism. Studied over 3 years, there are 17 modules looking at the fundamentals of business management with a Tourism specialism. This course prepares you to become an effective manager in the tourism sector – but also have a range of transferrable business skills. Whether it’s through understanding the issues facing modern tourism, understanding the nature of domestic vs international travel, or analysing data to improve business performance, completing this degree will give you the skills needed to work in the tourism industry. You will leave with a solid understanding of the fundamentals of general business management. With CMI accreditation and membership, this qualification will have high value to many employers and will increase your employability prospects.
