You will develop solid foundations in theory and practical skills, covering topics like: • macronutrients and micronutrients • social psychology • physiology Our Sport and Exercise BSc is designed in line with the Sports and Exercise Nutrition Register’s (SENR) guidelines. First year modules include: • Energy and Nutrition • Micronutrients • Research Methods 1 • Physiology of Exercise • Food Science and Novel Foods • Professional Skills for Nutritionists Assessment method A wide range of assessments are used to help develop key skills for both academic and employment purposes. Assessment methods include: • Essays • Poster presentations • Web-based assessments • Oral presentations • Practical and written exams Real-world experience You can complete internships at clubs where you'll work directly with athletes.
