Study in-depth marketing knowledge and understanding of the core theories, practices and techniques of marketing in a global context. On our flexible programme, you take a broad range of compulsory modules in your first year. You then select from a variety of options in your second and third year, and can even choose to deepen your knowledge of an aspect of through a research-led project. Course Details Stage 1 Your first year is a compulsory introductory year, designed to provide you with a solid foundation in the understanding of business practices and their related functions, including topics such as accounting, finance, and marketing. Stage 2 Your second year allows you to develop your critical understanding of marketing, developing skills in marketing strategy, branding, marketing research and analysis, plus the opportunity to apply theory to practice. Year abroad On your year abroad you will study at one of our partner universities in Europe or Asia. Places are subject to availability, language and degree programme. You are expected to adhere to any academic progression requirements in Stages 1 and 2 to proceed to the year abroad. If the requirement is not met, you are transferred to the equivalent three-year programme. The year abroad is assessed on a pass/fail basis and does not count towards your final degree classification. Stage 3 Your final year has a greater focus on capstone marketing modules such as new product marketing, digital marketing applications and marketing communications with the opportunity to undertake a marketing management project.
