Standard Qualification Requirements

Minimum Year 2 Entry Requirements SQA Advanced Higher - BBC including Maths and a Science (excluding Biology) or Technical Subject*. National 5 C in English. A-levels - BBB including Maths and a Science (excluding Biology) or Technical Subject*. GCSE Grade C/4 in English. HNC - Pass in a relevant subject at SCQF level 7 with Grade B in the graded unit. Must include Engineering Maths 1, 2 and 3. BTEC Extended Diploma - DDD (Distinction, Distinction, Distinction) in a related subject. BTEC must include Maths/A Level Grade B in Maths. GCSE Grade C/4 in English. Minimum Year 3 Entry Requirements HND - Pass in a relevant subject with Grade BB at SCQF Level 8 in the graded units. Must include Engineering Maths 1, 2, 3 and 4. Minimum Year 4 Entry Requirements Irish Ordinary Degree - Pass in a relevant subject with 50% overall, with minimum 50% at first sitting in all final year subjects. *Science and Technical Subjects Accepted: Physics, Engineering Science, Design & Manufacture, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Graphic Communication, Computing Science, Design & Technology.
