Portuguese embraces the study of the languages, literatures and cultures of Brazil, Portugal and the wider Portuguese-speaking world. Portuguese at Glasgow offers a varied programme, in which you will work in small groups with native speakers from Portugal and Brazil. The programme has long-established links with the Instituto Camões. You will have full access to our Language Resources Centre, which offers excellent audiovisual, digital and printed materials. Digital Media & Information Studies explores the creation, use and impact of digital content and information in the arts, humanities and society at large. It brings a human perspective to the issues of the digital age. We are the only university to offer this innovative programme at undergraduate level in the UK and are CILIP Accredited to train information professionals.

Qualification requirements
SQA applicants entering from S5 are required to achieve BBBB by the end of S5. Applicants who achieve less than BBBB by the end of S5 MAY receive a conditional offer, but a decision will not be made on these applications until all applications have been reviewed. Conditional offers to these applicants will require them to achieve AAAAA cumulatively by the end of S6.
