Location: This Teesside University award is delivered at our London Here East campus, part of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Start dates: September, November and January - visit www.tees.ac.uk/london/studentlife for details. Course overview: Network technologies are constantly evolving and underpin almost everything we do. You can be part of the next generation of cyber security and network graduates to support and enhance the world economy - through social developments, medical systems, education, financial institutions or heavy industry. You will take a hands-on approach and focus on network infrastructure, looking at how you can create and manage secure networks. You will study subjects that meet the growing needs of industry with input from local businesses and leading international providers. You will also explore different network platforms and learn about their applications - how different network architectures are used in industry, network convergence, ethical hacking and cyber security techniques. After the course: Graduates will be equipped to go on to work in a range of industries including the power industry, avionics and the pharmaceutical industry. You may go on to work for national or international companies, for example, Cisco, HMRC, Accenture and Durham Police.
