Course summary

We’ve designed our course to reflect the practical realities of managing complex, efficient and invariably international supply chains for fast-moving businesses. It covers the latest supply-chain thinking, methods and technologies, while giving you the leadership, planning, operational management and analytical training you’ll need. We make innovative use of simulations, welcome industry innovators as guest lecturers and organise site visits, where you’ll be able to observe operations and how they’re run. Site visits include trips to Felixstowe Port, the Jaguar plant, Amazon's Fulfillment Centre and BMW in Germany. Meanwhile, our staff have experience in a range of industries and work closely with these companies on research collaborations. Our facilities include the world-renowned LINKS simulation game, an internet-based supply chain simulation game, and the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab which gives you access to rich information about large corporates’ supply chains and, in turn, their suppliers’ supply chains. More generally, Lord Ashcroft International Business School offers the opportunity to study in a state-of-the-art learning and teaching environment, designed to maximise your studies. You'll benefit from on-site facilities, as well as virtual learning support materials through our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
