About this course Our BA Digital Media programme will immerse you in one of the fastest growing sectors of the creative industry, and equip you with the valuable skills, knowledge and experience needed for a career in the digital and new media. Our innovative programme will shape you into a digital media professional who can design cross-platform digital communication products such as digital campaigns, websites, mobile apps and games, and immersive and interactive experiences in a variety of contexts BA Digital Media is shaped by the demands and requirements of the digital media industry, providing students with an innovative learning experience that is directly relevant to the sector. You will be at the forefront of technically driven creation, learning how to create graphic and interactive interfaces, and plan and design immersive digital experiences. You will be taught how to use digital methods and techniques to research digital audiences; how to design and manage online advertising and campaigns; how to develop digital products using a wide range of platforms and professional tools such as motion and web graphics, non-linear story-telling, design for multimedia, UX and game design; and how to use industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and various game engines. You will also be given the opportunity to learn how to code in Java and HTML. Skills This innovative course will shape you into a digital media professional who can design cross-platform digital communication products, such as digital campaigns, websites, mobile apps, and immersive and interactive experiences in a variety of contexts. BA Digital Media is shaped by the demands and requirements of the digital media industry, providing you with an innovative learning experience that is directly relevant to the sector. The University offers a range of scholarships, as well as hardship funding for students who are in need of support. UK scholarships include an Academic Excellence Scholarship, worth up to £3,000, as well as scholarships for students with aptitude in sports and music.
