Course summary
Develop a research-led approach to the study of Global Health Governance and gain the key research skills you will need for doctoral-level study. Legal frameworks and instruments continue to evolve and to shape and influence both the content and delivery of standards and policy goals. You will consider global public health from a legal perspective, and be a part of expanding knowledge in this area.
- Gain all the skills you need to move on to a PhD
- Critically examine the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) and key international conventions and protocols
- Hear from prominent key speakers from organisations including the WHO, WTO, and the medical profession
- Benefit from strong links to the NHS, local authorities, policymakers and leading international figures in global health
- Go on to work in health policy and other fields of public health and public policy with a global perspective

Entry requirements
A 2:1 or above at undergraduate level in a relevant subject, such as Medicine, Nursing, the health sciences or the social sciences. Applicants with a 2:2 degree and relevant experience in the field will be considered on an individual basis.
