Course summary

Join our TEAM; Together Everyone Achieves More. On this Top-up Programme you will study a range of modules covering different sport, exercise and health related topics such as performance analysis, sports coaching, health and wellbeing and training. Throughout the programme, you will be given the opportunity to research your chosen areas of interest relating to sport, exercise and health. The programme will give you the opportunity to continue with your academic skills development, continue to extend your research and study skills as well as further develop your analytical and critical thinking skills. You will also be guided and encouraged to critically reflect on your performance and personal achievements throughout your studies. The programme will also offer you the opportunity to network and potentially gain employment opportunities, or work experience with local employers. Once you’ve successfully completed the degree you’ll have a clear understanding of the industry, relevant practical skills, as well as the academic understanding that will allow you to progress onto further academic study or into employment. This course is primarily designed for face-to-face learning, with attendance during lessons for the specified hours within the validation document. However, there may be periods of study where the government advises TEC Partnership that it is not safe to open campuses, or there is limited access due to social distancing measures. If the campus is closed, TEC Partnership will deliver your sessions online and offer you the necessary support and resources remotely. If there is limited access due to social distancing measures a blended model will be adopted, with some lessons taking place in small groups and others using online sessions and support.
