Course summary
You’ll engage with businesses of all types and sizes and learn more about marketing in the commercial world. You’ll learn the range of marketing practices, respond to commercial design briefs and engage directly with businesses. You’ll focus on marketing communication, marketing research, international strategic marketing, digital-marketing and brand management as well as learning to understand customers and their needs. Modules include: International Strategic Marketing, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Brand Management The vocational focus of this course means it’s perfect if you’re looking to move into marketing or if you want to build upon existing marketing expertise. Study style Assessments involve you developing academic arguments as well as marketing writing, advertising design and marketing campaign development skills. The course culminates in a dissertation or a marketing case project, enabling you to specialise in an area of marketing that you find particularly fascinating, and which you may wish to pursue in your marketing career. If you have a relevant postgraduate diploma or professional award (such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Professional Postgraduate Diploma), then you may be able to join this programme at an advanced level. Entry requirements
- At least a 2.2 honours degree or equivalent - Or a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification - Or appropriate employment experience - If you can possess the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Postgraduate Diploma or relevant qualification, you may join the course at an advanced level - EU and international students need IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 for all skills) or equivalent.
English language requirements
International students will need to produce evidence of an acceptable score on an approved English language test such as IELTS. We run pre-sessional English language courses to help you prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate study.
