Entry requirements

You are required to have a minimum 2.2 honours degree. If you are being sponsored you must submit a letter from your sponsor confirming this with a contact for the account the invoices need to be sent to. For those with substantial experience working directly within the Trade Mark field (minimum five years as a trade mark administrator or similar) but no undergraduate degree, we offer an exam only route enabling those who pass the examinations to continue on to the advanced ITMA programme run by other IPReg approved institutions. Those who undertake this route would not receive the PG Certificate, but would receive the same exemptions with regard to ITMA Foundation Status for the examinations taken. To apply for this route you will be required to provide two references from senior Trade Mark staff within your institution, one of which must be an ITMA member, who can confirm your experience.
