This degree will provide you with the scientific knowledge and managerial skills for a successful career in the expanding sports fisheries market or aquaculture industry. Focusing on the preservation of fisheries and fish husbandry, this course develops multi-skilled graduates suitable for a number of positions throughout the industry. You will gain a comprehensive grounding in fisheries management, aquatic ecology and aquaculture. Over the two years, each summer term will be spent working in the fisheries industry.
