Our three-year Environmental Geoscience course is a highly engaging and informative degree designed for students seeking to gain an in-depth understanding of the Earth's natural processes glacial environments and processes and restructuring quaternary environmental change. With modules combining physical geography with aspects of geology that cover a wide range of topics such as: • Earth Systems • Natural hazards • Environmental parameters • Human and Physical Geography Students are equipped with practical, numerical and computational skills to tackle the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. Exceptional fieldwork opportunities providing hands-on experience, visiting the UK's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower Peninsula, to locations across the world such as Austria, Borneo, Mallorca, Colorado and Sikkim in the Indian Himalayas as well as laboratory research; preparing you for a career in environmental management, conservation, or consultancy. Overall, this course is an excellent choice for students passionate about positively impacting the planet and eager to explore the fascinating world of environmental geoscience. You'll also get to develop some valuable transferable skills in your penultimate year of study abroad.
