Course summary

HND Art Practice is for students that want to explore art and develop skills as creative practitioners. Studying at NWSLC will allow you to have a hands-on practical approach, testing out new mediums, techniques, subjects and more.   We can help you to unleash your creative strengths to enable you to start a meaningful career in the creative arts industry. Whether your skills lie in painting, drawing and illustration, digital arts and media or printmaking, our HND Art Practice course will help perfect your creative talents.   You will get the opportunity to challenge yourself and see how you compare against other creative practitioners in national competitions and in group exhibitions, enabling you to develop the confidence and know-how to work successfully within a commercial context.   We can help open doors to a range of complementary careers including teaching, art therapy, or working as a stylist, designer or curator of a museum or gallery. Progression After completing this course, you will have the chance to top-up to the BA (Hons) Creative Practice course, studied at the Hinckley Campus and awarded by Coventry University to complete your full degree.
