Why study MSc Research Methods at BU?
- Acquire a range of psychological research methods and skills to investigate human behaviour, culminating in an ability to conduct rigorous research independently

Core units: Research Project, Introduction to Research Methods, Digital Methods and Data Skills, Advanced Quantitative Methods or Advanced Qualitative Methods (choose one unit) Subject Specialism (choose one subject - and the associated three units - from the following three subjects) Clinical Psychology: Roots and Range of Psychological Disorders; Clinical Skills; Psychological Therapy 1; Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology Neurodevelopmental Diversity: Clinical and Cognitive Neuropsychology; Ageing and Neurodegenerative Disorders Forensic Psychology: Behavioural Analysis of Serious Crime; Investigative Psychology; Professional Practice and Court Skills
Entry requirements
A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:2 accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Applicants may be invited to interview if they do not have a Psychology degree accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
