Modules
Core modules: Study Skills, dissertation; optional modules: Leadership in the pastoral epistles; the theology of worship; biblical ethics in contemporary context; reformation studies; appologetics; Christology yesterday and today; preaching in the contemporary world; pastoral studies, care and practice; mission studies.
Assessment method
Assessment for each single module is normally by a written essay of 4,000 words. The subject of the essay will usually be by negotiation with the module tutor. The core module is a double module. It is assessed by a combination of one 4,000-word essay, a 1,500-word research proposal and a 2,500-word literature review. The dissertation is normally 16,000-20,000 words.
Entry requirements
To gain entry students will normally require a relevant undergraduate degree. However relevant ministry experience can also be taken into account. Overseas students need IELTS 6.5
