The games market is a growing industry, with the UK gaming market hitting a record £7bn in 2020. This degree is for ambitious students who want to design imagery and assets for innovative new games on a variety of platforms. It will cover aspects of character and environment design with a focus on visual narrative and play. These skills will support students with a background in art and design to excel in this fast-paced field, inspiring and guiding them towards the originality and creativity essential for successful games design. You will be part our dynamic School of Media which places an emphasis on experimentation, joining a friendly community of creative students based in central Brighton. When you graduate you will be able to research, develop and produce work to a professional standard in preparation for entering the games industry.
