You will be able to visit sites, take behind-the-scenes tours and optional overseas study trips.* Art market professionals share their expertise. Speakers have included experts from Christie’s Auction House, Vastari and AXA Art Insurance, amongst many others. – This is the only antiques and fine art course accredited by RICS for entry as a probationer practitioner. About this course: You will be introduced to a wide range of businesses, collections and professionals and learn how the art market functions in a complex and changing art world. You will study the economic and legal contexts of the art industry and gain vital skills related to the valuation of objects within the art market. You will be able to focus on an area of interest, gaining research and practical skills which could lead to further postgraduate research as well as industry experience.

Assessment method
Essays, seminar papers and presentations, case studies, and major research-based project or dissertation. 100% coursework (though depends to some extent on the optional modules you choose).

Entry requirements
-Hold a good honours degree or equivalent in any discipline; and -preferably have either a degree qualification related to the subject material or a proven knowledge and interest in the subject demonstrated through, for example, work experience. We welcome applications from mature applicants with proven relevant professional experience.
