Course summary

Deepen your appreciation of a wide range of statistical methods and their underlying theory on this Master's course. You'll receive training in theoretical and applied statistics and explore how statistical reasoning and methods are used in different employment sectors. You'll also carry out an independent investigation into this area of statistics, using research techniques acquired from the course. Theory and Methods is one of six Statistics streams available at Imperial. You may wish to consider our General stream, or specialist streams in Applied Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, and Statistical Finance.


Entry requirements

2:1 in statistics, mathematics, engineering, physics or computer science. We also accept a wide variety of international qualifications.
