Course summary

This modern and future-focused BSc (Hons) Business and Management degree is suited to aspiring managers. We welcome people from all professions including those with experience rather than formal qualifications. The course covers the latest trends and challenges affecting businesses around the world. As well as core business management theory and practice, the course covers highly relevant topics such as:

  • agility, resilience and leadership during times of change
  • moral choices in management
  • creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship
  • marketing concepts and techniques
  • responsible management, sustainable operations and the circular economy
  • pursuing shared purpose while creating value for stakeholders, as well as for the wider society
CMI Accredited: Two qualifications from one course This accreditation provides a dual award, which means that you will gain the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership when you graduate, as well as the BSc (Hons) Business and Management. This is subject to you passing the following three modules*:
  • Leadership and Management
  • Strategic Marketing
  • Independent Research Project
*Please note, only the modules studied on this course are counted towards the CMI accreditation. If you are granted exemptions for any of the three modules listed as part of RPL (recognition of prior learning), you will not qualify for the CMI Diploma. Depending on the exemption, you may qualify for the CMI Level 5 Certificate. Intakes The online BSc (Hons) Business and Management degree has intake in September, January and May.
