Course summary
Developed in consultation with industry experts, this course will train you to become a leader in international fashion marketing. You'll gain a thorough grounding in marketing theory and practice (learning how to be innovative, ethical and adaptable) and apply your knowledge to the global fashion marketplace – growing your understanding of the industry’s processes, from trend forecasting to distribution. Working from live briefs with real clients, you'll develop integrated fashion marketing strategies, explore sources of disruption and innovation and learn how to monopolise opportunities that these changes present, while building your leadership skills and your ability to think creatively and analytically. To expand your understanding further, you'll have opportunities to study abroad in a European fashion capital; collaborate with brands, designers and magazine editors; and attend workshops and masterclasses with leading industry players, who each offer an unparalleled perspective on the fashion industry. Assessment method
The programme draws on a wide range of assessment types to reflect the nature of the industry and to give you an adequate opportunity to successfully demonstrate achievement on the programme according to your preferred style of learning. This includes academic essays, research activities, reports, presentations, reflective reports, panel critiques, interviews, group work, material outcomes and live projects. Alternative assessments are provided where possible for students with a registered disability. You will also engage in self-assessment and peer assessment.

Entry requirements
One of the following qualifications: Minimum second class UK undergraduate degree. Equivalent international qualifications as deemed acceptable by the University. Exceptional entry will be assessed on case by case basis by academic referral only based on: - An undergraduate degree lower than 2:2 plus one year of relevant work experience. - No undergraduate degree but three years of relevant work experience. We also welcome applications from candidates who do not meet the essential entry criteria outlined above. In order to be accepted for exceptional entry, you must: Hold a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience. Provide a 1000-word personal statement outlining your reasons for applying, and how your previous experience is of relevance to the programme you are applying for. Be prepared to attend an interview with the Postgraduate Admissions Panel.
