PLEASE NOTE - To apply for January 2022, please select ‘deferred entry’ on your UCAS application in Apply 2021 Why International Business (Top-up)? Business is becoming truly global. This one-year top-up course is designed to help you understand the global factors driving business today. You will explore international business and the cultural differences and diversities that it has to offer. This top-up degree course is designed to help you build a greater understanding of how the commercial world operates and help give you an in-depth exploration of issues affecting business with focus on the international market. How will you learn? You will learn through practical application and delivered lectures, workshops, seminars and group work sessions.

  • You'll have the opportunity to develop your understanding of international business and explore the cultural differences and diversities that it has to offer.
  • During your studies we’ll focus on international business, strategic management, business responsibility and sustainability to help give you an understanding that can be applied in any sector or industry.
What subjects will you cover? As your studies progress you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of optional modules, such as Direct and Digital Marketing - through to Environmental Policy and Advanced Operations Management where you’ll study operations and processes management as well as gain an understanding of the nature of improvement implementations in organisations.

Qualification requirements

Entry requirements for this course are normally one of the following: * Higher National Diploma in Business. * Overseas equivalents such as two years post baccalaureate at 55% average. * Successful completion of two years of Higher Education with 120 ECTS credits (or equivalent). If your first language is not English, you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum for IELTS is 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.
