The Graduate Entry LLB is a fast track two-year law degree that enables people with a degree in another academic discipline (at minimum 2:2 level) to earn a qualifying law degree. As a Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) accredited course, you’ll get a thorough grounding in the ‘foundations of legal knowledge’ subjects required by the SRA and the Bar Standards Board and develop the research, analytical and communication skills you’ll need to pursue a successful legal career. We offer two study options. You can choose two years full-time, or three years full-time with a one-year professional placement between the first and second years that will give you hands-on experience working in a legal practice. Please note, from October 2019, rather than accrediting LLB Degrees, the Bar Standard Board requires law degrees to cover the seven legal foundation subjects and the skills associated with graduate legal work in order to meet the requirements of the Academic Component of becoming a barrister. Brunel Law School's LLB Degrees fully meet these requirements.
