CLASSICS: - Classics involves the study of the literature, history, art and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Study of Latin and/or Greek language is possible at any level. You will have the opportunity to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of your programme. PSYCHOLOGY: - Psychology is the scientific study of people: how they think, act, react and interact. It is concerned with all aspects of behaviour and the thoughts, feelings and motivations underlying such behaviour. Psychology at Glasgow is ranked 2nd in Scotland and 8th in the UK (Complete University Guide 2019).

|Scottish Higher||AABB - AAAAAA||Must include English and at least one further Humanities subject. Must also have at least National 5 Mathematics at grade B or above.|
|International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme||38 points||3 HL subjects at 6,6,6 including English AND a Humanities subject. Whilst HL6 is preferred for English and Humanities subjects, SL6 will be considered for ONE of the subjects. SL Maths or Maths Studies must be passed at SL 4 or better.|
SQA applicants entering from S5 are required to achieve AABB by the end of S5. Applicants who achieve less than AAABB by the end of S5 MAY receive a conditional offer, but a decision will not be made on these applications until all applications have been reviewed. Conditional offers to these applicants will require them to achieve AAAAAA cumulatively by the end of S6.
